Cat 7 is particularly suitable when a high-quality, heavily shielded RJ45 connection is required for offices, racks, server rooms, system integration or industrial IT. For short 25/40-gigabit links, however, Cat 8.1 should be considered.

Cat 7 with RJ45 – do they go together?
When specifying a network cable, the cable category and the connector must be considered separately. Full, standards-compliant Class F/Cat 7 cabling specifies suitable connector systems such as GG45 or TERA.
In the case of pre-terminated patch cables, however, a high-performance Cat 7 bulk cable is often combined with Cat 6A-rated RJ45 connectors. RJ45 offers the major practical advantage of being able to be used directly with almost all standard network devices.
