Which SAT accessories are suitable for your installation?
First, select the task: connecting cables, fitting connectors, angling a connection, distributing signal paths or switching between LNBs. Then compare the connector combination, cable diameter, frequency range and the required transmission of power supply and control signals.

Which F-plugs do I need for my coaxial cable?
The screw-on F-connectors on offer are 7.3 mm in diameter and 20 mm long. It is essential that they fit securely onto the appropriately prepared cable. The braided shield and inner conductor must remain clearly separated; individual shield wires must not come into contact with the inner conductor.
Depending on your requirements, packs of 2, 4, 8, 10 or 100 F-connectors are available. You can find suitable cables in the coaxial cable section, sold by the roll.
SAT splitters: one signal path, multiple outputs
The 2-way and 4-way splitters operate in the 5–2500 MHz range and provide DC pass-through on all connections.
With these models, only one receiver can be used at a time. They do not allow simultaneous independent reception on two or four devices. For multiple independently usable users, the entire SAT distribution system must be designed accordingly.
DiSEqC switches: multiple LNBs, one receiver
The 2/1 switch selects between two LNB sources; the 4/1 switch between up to four. Both route the selected signal to a receiver or compatible TV tuner.
This requires a set-top box that supports DiSEqC 1.0 and is configured accordingly. The switches are designed for the 950–2150 MHz range and are supplied with a weatherproof cover.
Boost or attenuate the signal?
The SAT line amplifier, with up to 20 dB, boosts the signal level and operates with F-type sockets in the 47–2400 MHz range. The required power supply via the coaxial cable must be suitable for the installation.
If the signal level is too high, the satellite attenuator, with a range of 0 to 20 dB, reduces the signal. The measured signal level determines which measure is appropriate. Faulty cables or connectors should be repaired first.
Terminate free F-connections with 75 ohms
The 75-ohm F-type terminating resistor is used to properly terminate suitable unused connectors. Observe the specifications of the distributor, multi-switch or socket. For connections with an applied supply voltage, the required DC decoupling must be clarified in particular; the specification of 75 ohms alone is not sufficient for this.
Installation, moisture protection and alignment
- Insulating sleeves for F-connectors on RG6/RG59 cables help to protect suitable connections from moisture. A specific IP rating is not specified for this product.
- White cable clamps for 7.3 mm cables (100 pieces) are used for securing cables to suitable surfaces.
- The SAT Finder, featuring an illuminated LCD and an attenuation control, assists with antenna alignment. It is connected between the LNB and the receiver and is powered via the receiver.
