Power cable with a British Type G mains plug and an IEC 60320 C7 appliance coupler for appliances with an IEC C8 socket. The two-pin C7 connector is also known as a Euro-8, Figure-8 or eight-pin plug.

Type G plug: Consider the plug shape and country-specific approvals separately
The British Type G plug to BS 1363 is not used exclusively in the UK. Type G plug systems are also used in various other countries and regions.
However, the same plug shape does not automatically mean that every power lead is approved for every Type G target market. Various DINIC UK C7 power leads feature additional international approvals or safety marks alongside those for the UK.
