Hybrid power cables for the USA and Japan combine the requirements of both target markets in a single cable design. A single power cable for Japan and North America

Although similar plug types are used in Japan and the USA, the requirements for cabling, marking and approval differ. Hybrid power cables therefore combine suitable cable types and country-specific approvals in a single assembly.

The current range includes, amongst other things, a 3-pin version of Type B to IEC 60320 C13 with AWG18 and a combined VCTF/SJT cable type. This category will soon be expanded to include 2-pin hybrid power cables for compatible appliance connections.
