Product description
The blue DINIC Cat.7 patch cable, 0.30 m in length, connects network components via two Cat.6A RJ45 connectors. The Cat.7 bulk cable is tested up to 600 MHz and designed for Ethernet data rates of up to 10 Gbit/s. It is also backwards compatible with 10/100/1000 BASE-T.
The S/FTP construction combines individually metal-foil-shielded wire pairs (PIMF) with an additional overall braided shield. The eight copper wires are configured as four pairs in AWG 26. The pair sequence complies with EIA/TIA 568B.
The RJ45 connectors feature 50 µ gold-plated contact surfaces, latch nose protection and slimline kink protection sleeves with length markings. The halogen-free LSZH sheath is designed for professional cabling environments in buildings, plant rooms and data centres. The blue cable colour facilitates visual identification within documented patch and network structures.
Applications
- Patch panel and switch connections in server cabinets and racks
- Structured cabling in office IT and system integration
- Short patch connections in data centres
- Building services and floor distribution points
- PoE and PoE+ connections for suitable network end devices
- Industrial networks requiring shielded copper cabling

Compatibility
Suitable for network components with an RJ45 socket (8P8C), such as switches, routers, patch panels and network sockets. Supports 10/100/1000 BASE-T as well as 10 Gigabit Ethernet over appropriately configured total link lengths. Suitability for PoE+ end devices is specified in accordance with IEEE 802.3at.
Selection and practical guidance
The length of 0.30 m is suitable for short patch runs between ports located close together, for example between a patch panel and a switch in a server rack. For cable routing via cable management brackets or over longer distances, a longer version should be selected.
The blue cable colour can be used within a documented cabling scheme to visually identify specific ports, services or network segments.
