Description
The DINIC fibre optic adapter LC/APC female to SC/APC female is designed for the direct connection of single-mode patch cables with LC/APC and SC/APC connectors. It is suitable for interfacing between different connector types in fibre optic links without the need for additional active components or splicing work.
The APC polish of the ferrules ensures low return loss, which is particularly necessary for single-mode applications with high bandwidths and longer transmission distances. The adapter thus enables a stable, low-loss connection between access, distribution and end points in the fibre-optic infrastructure.
The compact design is suitable for use in patch panels, distribution frames, fibre optic termination boxes and for router/ONT connections, for example when LC/APC patch cables need to be adapted to SC/APC-based infrastructures. The colour-coded APC coding facilitates clear identification of the connector type in the field.
