Product description

The DINIC Cat.6 flat patch cable, 2 m in length, connects network components via two RJ45 connectors (8P8C). The flat design, with external dimensions of approx. 1.5 × 6.1 mm, allows for space-saving cable routing, for example in narrow cable ducts, behind skirting boards or in installations with limited space.

The shielded PiMF/STP construction uses foil-shielded wire pairs and helps to minimise electromagnetic interference. The Cat.6 cable is designed for 10/100/1000BASE-T. Gold-plated contacts and the moulded kink protection with strain relief complete the design for professional patch and workstation cabling.

Compatibility

Suitable for network components with an RJ45 Ethernet interface (8P8C), including switches, routers, patch panels, access points, IP telephones, PCs, servers, printers and industrial Ethernet-enabled devices. The connection type and supported Ethernet standard of the respective device must be checked before use.

Note on Power over Ethernet

The DINIC flat patch cables in this product category are not intended for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications. For PoE, PoE+ or PoE++, a network cable expressly approved for this purpose should be selected.

Selection and practical guidance

The flat design is particularly suitable for short patch runs and installations where space is limited. Before making a selection, the required cable length, the RJ45 connector and any necessary PoE support should be taken into account.
