Product description

The DINIC Cat.8.1 patch cable, 20 m in length, connects active and passive network components via two RJ45 connectors. The twisted-pair cable is tested up to 2000 MHz and designed for data transmission rates of up to 40 Gbit/s.

The S/FTP construction combines foil shielding of the individual wire pairs (PIMF) with an additional braided shield. The inner conductors are made of 100% copper in AWG 26. The cable sheath is made of halogen-free LSZH material.

The RJ45 connectors feature 50 µ gold-plated contact surfaces, a latch protection mechanism and a slimline kink protector. The pair sequence complies with EIA/TIA 568B. The patch cable supports PoE+ in accordance with IEEE 802.3at and, according to the product specification, is backwards compatible with 10/100/1000BASE-T.

The 20-metre version is suitable for RJ45 patch runs requiring Cat.8.1, a bandwidth of up to 2000 MHz and a data rate of up to 40 Gbit/s. Thanks to the slimline kink protection, the connector can also be used in densely populated patch panels.

For PoE applications, the cable supports PoE+ in accordance with IEEE 802.3at. When using existing network components, the documented RJ45 interface or the respective Ethernet support of the connected devices must be taken into account.
