Product description
The DINIC Cat.8.1 patch cable connects network components via two RJ45 connectors and is designed for transmission frequencies up to 2000 MHz and data rates up to 40 Gbit/s. The 10-metre version in black is suitable for structured copper cabling in professional IT, network and system integration environments.
The S/FTP construction combines pair-by-pair foil shielding (PIMF) with an additional braided shield. The conductors are made of 100% copper in AWG 26. The RJ45 connectors feature latch protection, slimline kink protection sleeves and 50 µ gold-plated contact surfaces.
The halogen-free LSZH sheath is designed for installation environments with increased requirements regarding smoke emission and fire load. In addition, the cable supports PoE+ in accordance with IEEE 802.3at.

Compatibility
Suitable for active and passive network components with an RJ45 connector, including patch panels, switches, routers or firewalls, servers, NAS devices and PoE injectors, as well as PoE-enabled end devices. According to the product specifications, the cable is backwards compatible with 10/100/1000BASE-T installations.
Selection and practical guidance
This version has a fixed length of 10 m and two RJ45 connectors. When planning, the connection type, required cable length and the requirements of the network components being used should be taken into account.
The length is also marked on the Slimline kink-protection sleeve. Support for PoE+ applications is specified in accordance with IEEE 802.3at.
