Product description

The DINIC Cat.7 patch cable, 3.00 m in length, connects network components via two RJ45 connectors (8P8C). The Cat.7 cable construction is tested up to 600 MHz and designed for Ethernet connections up to 10 Gigabit. The cable is therefore suitable for professional structured network cabling in server racks, plant rooms, office IT and similar installations.

For shielding, the wire pairs are individually shielded with metal foil (PiMF) and additionally surrounded by a braided shield. This S/FTP construction reduces interference and crosstalk, particularly in densely cabled environments.

The AWG 26 inner conductors are made of copper. The halogen-free LSZH sheath reduces the production of smoke and corrosion in the event of a fire. Slimline kink-protection sleeves with latch protection facilitate installation in densely populated patch panels and protect the locking tabs of the RJ45 connectors.

Compatibility

The patch cable is designed for active and passive network components with an RJ45 socket (8P8C), including switches, routers, patch panels, Keystone modules and suitable end devices.

It can be used for Ethernet connections with 10/100/1000 BASE-T as well as for 10 Gigabit Ethernet. The actual achievable data transfer rate depends on the network components used and the overall installation. PoE+ in accordance with IEEE 802.3at is supported.

Selection and practical guidance

The fixed length of 3.00 m is suitable for connections where a corresponding routing path is required between network components. The length specification is also marked on the Slimline kink-protection sleeve.

For installations with dense cable routing, the S/FTP construction provides additional shielding through the individually shielded wire pairs and the overall shield.
