Product description
The DINIC Cat.7 patch cable, 1.00 m in length, connects network components via two RJ45 connectors. The cable is tested up to 600 MHz, supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet and is also suitable for 10/100/1000 BASE-T. The RJ45 connectors are Cat.6A-compliant.
The S/FTP cable construction combines individually metal-foil-shielded wire pairs (PIMF) with an additional overall braided shield. This makes the patch cable suitable for structured cabling systems and network environments where effective shielding against electromagnetic interference is required.
The eight conductors are made of 100% copper and are configured as four paired conductor pairs in AWG 26. The halogen-free LSZH sheath reduces smoke emission. The cable can be used with PoE+ in accordance with IEEE 802.3at to power suitable network devices.
Applications
- Connections between switches, servers and patch panels
- Server rooms and data centre environments
- Building and floor cabling in technical and distribution rooms
- IT/OT networks and cabling in areas subject to EMC interference
- System integration, roll-out and service cabling
- PoE+ applications such as Wi-Fi access points, IP telephones and suitable network cameras

Compatibility
The patch cable is designed for network components and end devices with an RJ45 interface, such as switches, routers, patch panels, servers, NAS systems, as well as PCs and workstations.
It can be used in 10/100/1000 BASE-T and 10GBASE-T infrastructures. PoE+-capable devices compliant with IEEE 802.3at can also be connected via this cable.
Selection and practical guidance
The cable length of 1.00 m is particularly suitable for short connections between network components, for example between a switch and a patch panel or between active components within a server rack.
When planning, please note that the bare cable is Cat.7-rated and tested up to 600 MHz, whilst the fitted RJ45 connectors are Cat.6A-compliant. The length marking on the kink-protection sleeve facilitates identification during installation and servicing.
FAQ
What connectors does the Cat.7 patch cable have?
The cable is fitted with a Cat.6A-compliant RJ45 connector at both ends.
What data rates does the patch cable support?
The Cat.7 cable, tested up to 600 MHz, supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet as well as 10/100/1000 BASE-T.
