Product description
The DINIC Cat.7 patch cable, 0.50 m in length, connects active and passive network components via two Cat.6A RJ45 connectors. The cable is tested up to 600 MHz and designed for 10GBase-T or data transmission up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet. It is also backwards compatible with 10/100/1000BASE-T.
The S/FTP construction combines individually metal-foil-shielded wire pairs (PIMF) with an additional overall braided shield. This design reduces interference and is particularly suitable for professional network environments, densely populated patch panels and installation areas subject to EMC interference.
The copper inner conductors are AWG 26. Both RJ45 connectors feature 50 µ gold-plated contact surfaces and latch protection. The length marking is located on the kink-protection sleeve; the pair sequence complies with EIA/TIA-568B. The halogen-free LSZH sheath is suitable for installations with increased requirements regarding smoke and corrosive gas emissions.

For active and passive network components with RJ45 ports (8P8C), such as switches, routers, patch panels, network sockets, server network interfaces, IP telephones, access points and PoE+ devices in accordance with IEEE 802.3at. Data transmission is backwards compatible with 10/100/1000BASE-T.
Selection and practical guidance
With a cable length of 0.50 m, this version is particularly suitable for short patch runs within a network cabinet, for example between a patch panel and a switch or between network components installed close to one another.
For PoE+ applications, the active components and end devices used must support the relevant IEEE 802.3at standard.
