Product description

The DINIC Premium Cat.7 patch cable, 2.00 m in length, connects network components via two Cat.6A RJ45 connectors. The Cat.7 cable construction is tested up to 600 MHz and designed for 10GBASE-T or 10 Gigabit Ethernet. The cable is also backwards compatible with 10/100/1000 BASE-T.

The S/FTP shielding combines individually metal-foil-shielded twisted pairs (PiMF) with an additional braided shield. This construction supports interference-free data transmission in professional network environments such as server cabinets, patch panels and structured building cabling systems.

The inner conductors are made of copper (CU) and are of AWG 26 gauge. The red LSZH sheath is halogen-free. Gold-plated contact surfaces (50 µ), latch protection and slimline kink protection sleeves complete the design for professional use.

It supports 10/100/1000 BASE-T and 10GBASE-T, depending on the connected devices and the specific installation. PoE+ applications in accordance with IEEE 802.3at are also possible, provided the network components used support this standard.

Selection and practical guidance

The red sheath colour aids the visual identification of different network paths in patch panels and server cabinets. With a length of 2.00 m, this variant is particularly suitable for connections where additional freedom of movement is required compared to very short patch cables.
