Product description

The DINIC Cat.7 LSZH patch cable, 3.00 m in length, connects active and passive network components via two Cat.6A RJ45 connectors. The yellow network cable is tested up to 600 MHz and designed for data connections up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet.

The S/FTP construction combines individually metal-foil-shielded wire pairs (PIMF) with an additional overall braided shield. AWG 26 copper is used as the inner conductor. The contact surfaces of the RJ45 connectors are gold-plated to 50 µ; the pair sequence complies with EIA/TIA 568B.

The LSZH sheath is halogen-free. Latch tab protection and slimline kink protection sleeves with length markings facilitate handling and identification when cabling patch panels, network components and server racks.

Compatibility

The patch cable is designed for active and passive network components with RJ45 sockets, including switches, routers, patch panels, network cards, IP telephones and access points.

It supports 10/100/1000 BASE-T and 10GBase-T. The achievable data rate depends on the components used and the total transmission distance. PoE and PoE+ devices can be connected within the limits of the respective system design.

Selection and practical guidance

The yellow sheath colour can be used for the visual identification of network segments, devices or patch connections. The length marking on the Slimline kink-protection sleeve makes it easier to identify the 3.00-m cable in the patch panel or server cabinet.

For 10 Gigabit Ethernet and PoE+ installations, not only the patch cable but also the other components and the entire cabling run must be designed to meet the relevant standard.
