Product description

The DINIC Cat.7 patch cable, 2.00 m in length, connects network components via two Cat.6A RJ45 connectors (8P8C). The Cat.7 raw cable is tested up to 600 MHz and supports data transfer rates of up to 10 Gbit/s via 10GBASE-T. It is also backwards compatible with 10/100/1000 BASE-T.

The S/FTP construction combines individually metal-foil-shielded wire pairs (PiMF) with an additional braided shield. This reduces crosstalk and external interference. AWG 26 copper is used as the inner conductor.

The yellow LSZH sheath is halogen-free and low-smoke. The RJ45 connectors feature 50 µ gold-plated contact surfaces, slimline kink-protection sleeves with length markings, and a latch tab protector. The pair sequence is terminated in accordance with EIA/TIA 568B.

Compatibility

Suitable for active and passive network components with an RJ45 interface, including switches, routers, firewalls, server network cards, patch panels, RJ45 keystone modules and data sockets. Supports 10/100/1000 BASE-T and 10GBASE-T, although the achievable transmission performance depends on the entire network link.

Selection and practical guidance

The cable uses Cat.7 bare cable, whilst the pre-terminated RJ45 connectors comply with the Cat.6A standard. For 10GBASE-T, in addition to the patch cable, the rest of the transmission path must also be designed to support the required data rate. The yellow sheath colour enables clear visual identification within structured cabling systems.
