Product description
The DINIC Cat.7 patch cable, 0.50 m in length, connects network components via two RJ45 connectors. The connectors are Cat.6A-compliant, whilst the cable construction complies with Category Cat.7 and is tested up to 600 MHz. This pre-terminated network cable is suitable for 10GBase-T as well as 10/100/1000 BASE-T in appropriately compatible infrastructure.
An S/FTP construction is used for the shielding: the wire pairs are individually shielded with metal foil (PiMF), supplemented by an overall braided shield. AWG 26 copper is used as the inner conductor. The LSZH sheath is halogen-free.
The RJ45 connectors feature gold-plated contact surfaces (manufacturer’s specification: 50 µ), latch tab protection and slimline kink-protection sleeves. The length is marked directly on the kink-protection sleeve. The pair sequence complies with EIA/TIA 568B.

Compatibility
The patch cable is designed for active and passive network components with an RJ45 Ethernet socket (8P8C), including switches, routers, firewalls, patch panels, data sockets, servers and network interfaces.
It supports 10/100/1000 BASE-T as well as 10GBase-T, provided the network infrastructure is suitable. PoE and PoE+ applications in accordance with IEEE 802.3at are supported.
Selection and practical guidance
The cable length of 0.50 m is designed for short connections within network cabinets or between network components located close to one another. The yellow sheath colour aids the visual identification of ports and cable runs.
For 10GBase-T, the rest of the network infrastructure in use must also be suitable for the corresponding data rate.
