Product description

The yellow DINIC Cat.7 patch cable, 0.30 m in length, is designed for professional network cabling with high transmission requirements. The pre-terminated cable features two Cat.6A RJ45 connectors and a Cat.7 cable construction, which is tested up to 600 MHz. It supports up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet and is backwards compatible with 10/100/1000 BASE-T.

The S/FTP construction combines pairs of wires shielded by metal foil (PiMF) with an additional overall braided shield. The inner conductors are made of copper and are rated at AWG 26. The RJ45 connectors feature 50 µ gold-plated pins for a permanently stable connection.

The halogen-free LSZH sheath is suitable for installations with corresponding material requirements. Latch tab protection and slimline kink protection sleeves with length markings facilitate handling in patch panels and rack installations. The yellow cable colour allows the connection to be visually identified within a documented cabling scheme.

Supports 10/100/1000 BASE-T and up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet, depending on the active hardware and total cable length. Selection and practical guidance

The 0.30 m length is particularly suitable for very short patch runs between ports that are close together, for example between a patch panel and a switch in a network cabinet. A longer version should be used when routing cables via cable brackets or where ports are further apart.

The yellow cable colour can be used within a documented network infrastructure for the visual identification of different services, ports or network segments. The specific colour scheme is determined by the respective cabling concept.
