Product description

The DINIC Premium Cat.7 patch cable, 5.00 m in length, connects network components via two Cat.6A-class RJ45 connectors. The cable is tested up to 600 MHz and designed for transmissions up to 10 Gbit Ethernet as well as for 10/100/1000BASE-T.

The S/FTP construction combines pair-by-pair metal foil screening (PIMF) with an additional braided screen. The eight conductors are made of 100% copper (AWG 26). For compatible network devices, the cable also supports PoE+ in accordance with IEEE 802.3at.

The white LSZH jacket is halogen-free and low-smoke. This makes the patch cable suitable for professional installations where specific requirements apply to the jacket material. The RJ45 connectors feature 50 µ gold-plated contact surfaces, a latch protection tab and a slimline kink-protection sleeve.

Compatibility

The cable is designed for network components with an RJ45 Ethernet interface, including switches, routers, patch panels, media converters and network sockets.

Selection and practical guidance

When planning, please note that the cable run is specified as Cat.7 and tested up to 600 MHz, whilst the RJ45 connectors at both ends comply with the Cat.6A standard. The length marking printed on the Slimline kink-protection sleeve facilitates identification in larger patch panels and rack installations.
