Description
The IEC-LOCK™ IEC 60320 C13 connector is a field attachable device connector for professional power distribution, device connections and special assemblies. The locking mechanism supports a strain-relieved, vibration-resistant connection at the C14 device inlet and minimises the risk of failure due to accidental disconnection - especially in motion- or maintenance-intensive environments.
The housing can be rotated, allowing the outlet to be angled upwards or downwards. This allows the cable routing to be adapted to installation situations (e.g. rack/switch cabinet, narrow installation depths, rear device cabling) and reduces mechanical stress on the connection.
Note on angular orientation: The illustration of the connector is decisive, as the designation left/right/top/bottom angled depends on the respective point of view.
