DINIC OM4 LC/LC outdoor fibre-optic cable, 4 fibres, 250 m, black
The black DINIC OM4 outdoor fibre optic cable is a pre-terminated multimode cable with LC connectors at both ends and four fibres. The 250-metre version is designed for building, campus and industrial cabling systems with outdoor sections.

Product description
The OM4 outdoor fibre-optic cable uses the U-DQ(ZN)BH cable construction with a halogen-free, flame-retardant sheath and an E-glass yarn barrier. It enables the connection of suitable network distribution frames via pre-configured outdoor and transition runs. The LC/LC termination supports direct connection to suitable patch panels and optical network components.
Applications
Building connections, campus networks, industrial facilities, technical containers and outdoor distribution frames within a suitable multimode infrastructure. For system houses, installation companies and integrators when connecting geographically separate network distribution frames.

Compatibility
For LC patch panels, LC couplers and suitable multimode transceivers with an LC interface. For a 250-metre link, the transceiver range, fibre allocation, polarity and optical loss budget must all be compatible. The OM4 category alone does not determine the achievable data rate.
Note on the fibre insertion aid
The reusable DINIC fibre-optic pull-in aid LW-EIN6-15 is available separately. It is designed for cable diameters of 6–15 mm and has an outer diameter of 40 mm. Take this space requirement into account when planning conduit, bends and constrictions.
Selection and practical guidance
Measure the entire installation route, including building entries and spare length for patching. When pulling the cable through, protect the LC connectors mechanically and do not use them as a pulling point. Observe the specified bend radius and installation temperature.
