The DINIC Premium DisplayPort to HDMI cable is designed for reliable connection of DisplayPort sources (e.g. PC, workstation, docking station, graphics card) to HDMI sinks (e.g. monitor, TV, projector, AV receiver, HDMI switch). The design for 4K@60Hz as well as HDR and 3D support enables use in professional AV and IT environments where stable image output is required.

The metal plugs and gold-plated contacts support a robust, stable connection – especially when frequently plugged and unplugged, in rack environments or in conference room setups. The cable is passive and directional (DisplayPort to HDMI); the signal direction must be taken into account when planning the signal path.

Suitable for devices with DisplayPort output (DP 1.2) for connection to HDMI inputs (HDMI 2.0) on monitors, projectors, displays or AV components.

An active signal converter is required for HDMI source → DisplayPort display.

All DisplayPort (DP) to HDMI cables and/or passive adapters are generally monodirectional. This means that they only work in the direction from DP to HDMI (monitor).

The technical reason for this is that the DisplayPort interface can output an HDMI signal, while no DisplayPort signal is available at an HDMI port.

Conversion in the opposite direction is only possible with an active converter (signal converter).
