Description: DINIC box
The DINIC adapter cable connects DisplayPort outputs from a PC, notebook, docking station or graphics card to HDMI-capable display devices such as monitors, projectors or displays. The DisplayPort-side locking mechanism supports a strain-relieved, installation-friendly connection - especially in moving or service-intensive installations.
Designed as a passive, monodirectional DP→HDMI cable: The function is only available in the DisplayPort (source) to HDMI (monitor) direction. Technical background: The DisplayPort interface can output an HDMI signal; however, no DisplayPort signal is present at an HDMI port. An active converter (signal converter) is required for the reverse direction (HDMI→DisplayPort).
Gold-plated contacts as well as foil and braided shielding contribute to stable transmission and increased interference immunity in professional IT and AV environments.
