Product description

The DINIC DisplayPort to HDMI cable DP-HDMI-2KB connects DisplayPort outputs on PCs, laptops, docking stations, workstations or graphics cards to display devices with an HDMI Type-A input. The black, 2.00 m long adapter cable supports video resolutions up to a maximum of 1920 × 1200 at 60 Hz.

The cable is passive and unidirectional. The signal flows exclusively from the DisplayPort source to the HDMI display. The 20-pin DisplayPort plug is fitted with a locking mechanism, ensuring a secure connection on the source side.

The cable construction specifies AWG 32 conductors, as well as foil and braided shielding. The contacts are gold-plated. The 2-metre version is suitable for, amongst other things, workplace and meeting room installations, system integration, industrial and control room environments, as well as service and rollout applications.

This passive cable is designed exclusively for the DisplayPort → HDMI signal direction. It cannot be used to connect an HDMI source to a DisplayPort input.

Notes

Note the signal direction: The DisplayPort plug is connected to the signal source and the HDMI plug to the input of the target device. An active signal converter is required for the reverse direction (HDMI → DisplayPort).
