Product description

The DINIC HDMI-A angle adapter is designed for angled connections between devices and cables with HDMI Type A. The 90° design routes the connection downwards and reduces the space required immediately behind an HDMI port.

This makes the adapter particularly suitable for installations with limited space behind monitors, panels, AV components or in racks. The HDMI connection supports a maximum bandwidth of 48 Gbit/s, as well as 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz.

The adapter operates passively and bidirectionally. Gold-plated pins and a PVC and aluminium housing complement the mechanical design for professional use.

Compatibility

Suitable for HDMI Type A interfaces, including those found on monitors, TVs, projectors, graphics cards, AV receivers, matrix switches, extenders, as well as HDMI panel and feed-through modules. Standard HDMI Type A connectors are required on both sides for use.

Installation notes

Angle orientation: With angled HDMI adaptors, the label may be interpreted as being at the top or bottom depending on the viewing angle. The product image therefore serves as the definitive guide for the correct orientation.

Signal path: The adapter operates passively. With long HDMI cable runs, the maximum possible bandwidth may depend on the entire signal path and the components used.

Selection and practical advice

Before installation, check the direction in which the HDMI cable is to be routed from the respective device. The 90° downward version is particularly suitable for connections where a straight HDMI plug would require too much installation depth or where the cable needs to be routed immediately behind the device.
