Product description

The DINIC USB PD/QC 3.0 charging adapter PW-CA-S-KB combines a USB-C output with Power Delivery 3.0 and a USB-A output with Quick Charge 3.0 in a 2-port power supply. In single-port operation, up to 20 W is available via USB-C, whilst the USB-A output provides up to 19 W.

When both ports are used simultaneously, the power supply delivers a total of 5.0 V / 3.0 A or 15 W. This makes the adapter suitable, amongst other things, for setting up standardised charging points for compatible smartphones, tablets and other USB devices.

The set includes a black USB 2.0 cable with USB-A and USB-C connectors, approximately 1 m in length. This cable can be used to connect a USB-C device to the USB-A output of the charging adapter. For Power Delivery charging via the USB-C output, a suitable USB-C cable is required, depending on the device.

Compatibility

USB-C output: For devices with a USB-C charging port and Power Delivery support. The output also supports 5 V charging.

USB-A output: For devices with Quick Charge 3.0 and for standard 5 V USB charging.

Simultaneous operation: Both ports can be used at the same time, provided the connected devices can be powered by the shared 5 V output. The total power output in this case is 15 W.

Selection and practical guidance

To achieve maximum Power Delivery output, the connected device must support the relevant USB-C PD profile. The actual voltage and power used are determined by the combination of the charging adapter and the connected device.

The supplied USB-A-to-USB-C cable is used with the USB-A output. To charge a USB-C device directly via the USB-C PD output, a suitable USB-C cable is required.
