Product description

The DINIC 45W USB-C fast-charging power supply provides charging profiles in accordance with USB Power Delivery 3.0 via a USB-C output, delivering up to 45 W. It is suitable for compatible smartphones, tablets, compact laptops, power banks and other devices with a USB-C charging port and Power Delivery support.

In addition to fixed PD profiles at 5.0 V, 9.0 V, 12.0 V, 15.0 V and 20.0 V, the power supply supports PPS (Programmable Power Supply). For PPS-compatible devices, an adjustable output range of 5.0 to 11.0 V DC with up to 4.1 A and a maximum of 45 W is available.

The input is rated for 100–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz. The PW-45C-W-V2-KB variant is supplied individually in a DINIC cardboard box with Euro-slots and is therefore particularly suitable for specialist retailers, distributors, warehousing and project-based procurement.

Compatibility

The power supply is designed for devices with a USB-C charging port that support USB Power Delivery. Depending on the device’s requirements, these may include, for example, smartphones, tablets, compact laptops and power banks.

The PPS function can be used with devices that explicitly support PPS. A suitable USB-C charging cable is required for connection; a charging cable is not included in the scope of delivery.

Selection and practical guidance

The actual output voltage and charging power used are negotiated between the power supply unit and the compatible device. For a charging power of up to 45 W, the device and the USB-C cable used must support the required Power Delivery profile.

For PPS-capable devices, the power supply can dynamically adjust the output values within the specified PPS range. For procurement and roll-out, it is therefore advisable to check that the supported charging profiles of the end device match the technical output specifications of the power supply.
