Product description

The 20 W USB-C car charger with Power Delivery 3.0 provides a regulated USB-C charging supply from a 12–24 V vehicle electrical system. The adapter supports the PD profiles 5.0 V / 3.0 A, 9.0 V / 2.2 A and 12.0 V / 1.6 A, making it suitable for fast charging of compatible smartphones, tablets and other USB-C devices.

This model is suitable for professional use, including in service and installation vehicles, vehicle fleets and mobile workstations. The actual charging power achievable depends on the connected device, the USB-C cable used and the Power Delivery profile supported by the device.

Compatibility

The adapter is designed for vehicles with a 12 V or 24 V electrical system and a corresponding car socket.

USB-C-chargeable devices can be powered via the USB-C output. Fast charging via Power Delivery is possible if the connected device and the USB-C cable used support one of the available PD profiles.

Notes

A fast-charging cable is not included. To achieve the desired charging power, a USB-C cable compatible with the device and the relevant Power Delivery profile must be used.

Selection and practical advice

Before use, you should check which Power Delivery profile the device to be charged supports. The car charger provides a maximum of 20 W; the actual power used is determined by the device, the cable and the supported PD profile.
