C13 to C14 power extension cable – halogen-free (LSZH)

DINIC’s halogen-free extension leads connect an IEC-C14 power source, such as a PDU or UPS, to equipment with an IEC-C13 connection. They are particularly suitable for professional power cabling in server rooms, network cabinets, AV installations and industrial applications.

Important: Halogen-free does not mean fire-free

LSZH primarily describes the material properties in terms of halogen content and smoke emission. Even halogen-free cables can burn and produce harmful gases in the event of a fire. Requirements relating to flame spread, smoke density or fire behaviour must therefore always be assessed on the basis of the specific product specification and the applicable standards.

What is the correct C13/C14 LSZH cable length?

The appropriate length depends on the distance between the power distribution point and the load. Within the rack, the cable should be long enough without creating unnecessarily large cable reserves.
