Description
The DINIC USB 2.0 to RS232 converter provides a serial DB9 interface via USB and thus enables the operation of classic RS232 peripherals on current systems without native COM ports. The FTDI controller FT232RL realises a robust USB-to-serial conversion - suitable for permanent service and integration environments.
The supplied USB extension cable (approx. 0.80 m) facilitates installation in control cabinets, technical rooms or at the workplace when USB ports are difficult to access. Typical applications include commissioning, parameterisation and data connection of serial devices in field operation.
