Product description

The OM4 50/125 µm fibre optic patch cable with SC/SC duplex connectors is designed for professional multimode fibre optic connections in structured cabling systems. Both cable ends are fitted with SC connectors. The duplex design provides two fibres for transmission and reception.

The LSZH jacket is halogen-free and low-smoke. The cable jacket’s properties comply with IEC 60754-2, IEC 60332-1 and IEC 61034. The erika violet version in RAL 4003 facilitates the clear identification of the OM4 connection within mixed cabling infrastructures.

With a length of 10 m, the patch cable is suitable, amongst other things, for connections between patch panels and active network components. The actual usable transmission performance of an OM4 link depends on the transceivers used, the attenuation budget and the existing infrastructure.
