Product description

The pre-assembled outdoor breakout cable uses cable type U-DQ(ZN)BH. Its halogen-free, flame-retardant construction is designed for outdoor and transition installations. The E-glass yarn layer provides an additional rodent barrier, but does not offer unrestricted protection against all types of damage.

Building connections, campus networks, industrial facilities, equipment containers and outdoor distribution points with suitable multimode infrastructure.

Compatibility

For LC connectors, LC patch panels and suitable multimode transceivers with LC ports. Fibre configuration, polarity and module specifications must be compatible with the intended connection; OM4 alone does not specify a standard data rate.

Note on the fibre insertion aid

The reusable DINIC fibre-optic feed-through tool LW-EIN6-15 is available separately. When planning conduit routing, take into account its external diameter of approx. 40 mm.

Selection and practical guidance

Check the cable length, routing path and port assignment in advance. When pulling the cable through, protect the LC connectors and do not use them as a pulling point. Observe the minimum bend radius and installation temperature.
