Product description
The OM4 fibre optic patch cable with 50/125 µm multimode fibre connects components with LC duplex interfaces. The 5 m cable is pre-terminated with LC duplex connectors at both ends and is suitable for structured OM4 cabling in data centres, server rooms, network distribution points and similar IT infrastructures.
The LSZH outer sheath is halogen-free in accordance with IEC 60754-2, flame-retardant in accordance with IEC 60332-1 and low-smoke in accordance with IEC 61034. The outer diameter is approx. 3.0 mm. The erika violet colour scheme in accordance with RAL 4003 facilitates clear identification within an OM4 cabling system.

For OM4, the product documentation specifies typical guideline values of up to 1,100 m at 1 Gbit/s, 550 m at 10 Gbit/s, and 150 m at 40 Gbit/s and 100 Gbit/s. The actual usable range depends on the total transmission distance and the equipment used.
