Description
This Cat.7 installation cable is designed for structured cabling in professional network environments. The conductor construction with solid AWG 23/1 cores supports stable electrical properties in fixed installations (e.g. in empty conduits, cable trays and underfloor systems).
The S/FTP shielding with PiMF (Pair in Metal Foil) reduces coupling and minimises radiation. This makes the cable particularly suitable for EMC-critical areas, high packing densities in the riser area and for installations with parallel routing to power-carrying cables (in compliance with the installation rules).
The design up to 1000 MHz enables the construction of high-performance data links in accordance with ISO/IEC 11801 (AMD 2:2009) and EN 50173-1 (2009). The achievable application class depends on the overall link and the connection components used (e.g. keystone/panel).
