Product description
The DINIC RJ45 coupler Cat.6A/5e connects two Ethernet patch cables with RJ45 plugs (8P8C). The two RJ45 sockets are wired 1:1, thereby enabling a direct pin-to-pin connection for extending existing patch cables or for connecting cables in service and installation applications.
The shielded double coupler features shielding plates for continuous shield contact and a full-metal housing. It is designed for structured copper networks up to Cat.6A and is backwards compatible with Cat.5 and Cat.5e. The RJ45 socket-to-RJ45 socket version is supplied in a DINIC box with a Euro-slot.

Compatibility
Suitable for standard Ethernet patch cables with RJ45 connectors (8P8C). The connector can be used in structured copper networks up to Cat.6A and is backwards compatible with Cat.5 and Cat.5e. Typical connections include those between patch and cross-connect cables, as well as connection cables to switches, patch panels, routers or end devices.
Selection and practical guidance
Patch cables with RJ45 connectors (8P8C) are used for the connection. The connectors are inserted into the two opposite sockets of the coupler. Thanks to the 1:1 wiring, the contacts are connected directly, pin-to-pin.
