Product description

The DINIC Cat.6A RJ45 coupler connects two network patch cables with RJ45 plugs (8P8C). Both ends are designed as RJ45 sockets. The contacts are connected in a 1:1 configuration, allowing existing network cables to be extended or connected to one another without changing the pin assignment.

The shielded version features shielding plates and a full metal housing. This makes the coupler particularly suitable for shielded network cabling as well as for installation, maintenance and service work in professional IT environments. The coupler is suitable for Cat.6A and, according to the product specifications, is compatible with Cat.5 and Cat.7 cabling.

The connector is designed for patch cables and components with RJ45 plugs in the 8P8C configuration. It is suitable for Cat.6A connections and, according to the product specifications, is compatible with Cat.5 and Cat.7 cabling.

For shielded network runs, it is recommended to use appropriately shielded RJ45 patch cables so that the existing shield connection can be carried through the connector.

Selection and practical guidance

The RJ45 double connector is intended for applications where two pre-terminated patch cables are to be connected directly to one another. For shielded installations, the connector should be used with shielded patch cables. The 1:1 connection links the corresponding contacts of both RJ45 sockets directly to one another.
