Product description

The DINIC Cat.6 network socket is a shielded dual-port data socket with two RJ45 sockets for professional structured copper cabling. It is suitable for Cat.5e and Cat.6 installations and can be used as a flush-mounted, surface-mounted or cable duct solution. The required surface-mounted housing is included.

On the installation side, the wires are connected via LSA cutting clamps (IDC). It supports conductors in the AWG 22–24 range. Depending on the installation situation, the horizontal cable entry can be made from the right, left or both sides; strain relief via a clamping screw is integrated.

The two shielded RJ45 sockets are angled at 40°. This allows for neat routing of patch cables, particularly in cable ducts and installation areas with limited space. The fully shielded die-cast zinc housing ensures continuous shielding contact.

Compatibility

The network socket is designed for structured twisted-pair installation cables with conductors in the AWG 22–24 range and LSA termination.

RJ45 patch cables and RJ45 system components can be connected to the front panel in Cat.5e/Cat.6 cabling systems.

PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ applications are supported, provided that the other components and the cabling of the overall installation are also designed for this purpose.

Selection and practical guidance

Installation conductors in the AWG 22–24 range are intended for the rear LSA connection. The cable entry can be selected on the right, left or both sides, depending on the installation situation.
