Description

The DINIC fibre optic adapter LC/APC socket to SC/APC socket is a compact fibre optic adapter for direct connection of LC/APC-based and SC/APC-based single-mode connections. It is particularly suitable when different connector types have to be combined in networks, for example when transitioning from LC-based patch cables to SC-based connection components.

The simplex design ensures clear assignment per fibre and facilitates handling in distribution panels and connection boxes. The female/female design allows pre-assembled patch cables to be connected to each other without additional splicing work, which reduces installation time and simplifies modifications to existing infrastructures.

The adapter is designed for single-mode applications, as are common in FTTx, telecommunications and data network environments with long ranges and high return loss requirements.
