Description

The DINIC Toslink distributor enables the optical distribution of an SPDIF signal from one Toslink socket to two Toslink sockets. The compact Y-coupler is built into a robust DINIC box and is suitable for fixed installations as well as for use in rack and device environments.

The Toslink couplers are moulded and housed in an ABS housing, which supports a mechanically stable and durable connection in daily operation. The use of a passive optical distributor means that no additional power supply is required and the signal is transmitted purely via fibre optic cables.

The DINIC Box's integrated Euro hole holder makes it easy to mount on hook rails, wall brackets or in storage and counter areas. This means that the distributor can be clearly organised and quickly replaced or added to as required.

In practical applications, only one terminal device is typically operated at a time to ensure sufficient level reserves for the optical signal and to guarantee stable audio transmission.
