Description

The DINIC Toslink cable with an outer diameter of 4 mm is designed for the optical transmission of digital audio signals in accordance with S/PDIF. Typical applications are connections between set-top boxes, televisions, media players or games consoles and AV receivers, soundbars or other audio components with an optical input.

The integrated POF fibre optic cable (polymer optical fibre) transmits the signal using light, making the cable largely insensitive to electrical and magnetic interference fields. This is particularly advantageous in environments with many power supply units, switching power supplies or IT infrastructure.

The moulded PVC connector bodies ensure permanent strain relief and mechanical stability in daily use. Gold-plated contact surfaces in the mating area support reliable plug connections and reduce the risk of contact corrosion, especially with frequent reconnection.

The length of 2.00 m is suitable for typical installation routes in the rack, in media furniture or between TV and audio system, without excessive excess cable.
