Description
This OM4 fibre optic cable is designed as a pre-assembled LC/LC duplex patch cable for professional multimode installations. The 50/125 µm OM4 fibres support high bandwidths and are optimised for short to medium distances in active network environments.
The LSZH jacket reduces smoke development and contains no halogens - advantageous for technical areas, building cabling and areas with increased requirements for fire and smoke behaviour. The outer diameter of approx. 3.0 mm offers a practical balance of robustness and handling when patching.
Typical guide values for maximum transmission distances (depending on transceiver, attenuation budget and installation conditions): 1 Gbit/s up to approx. 1100 m, 10 Gbit/s up to approx. 550 m, 40/100 Gbit/s up to approx. 150 m.
