Product description
The DINIC HDMI-A connector (socket/socket) serves as a passive coupling for the direct connection of two standard HDMI-A cables. This allows existing cable runs to be extended flexibly without integrating active components into the installation.
The version supports HDMI 2.1 (Ultra High Speed with Ethernet) with up to 48 Gbit/s and enables transmissions up to 8K (60 Hz) or 4K (120 Hz). Gold-plated contacts improve contact stability, while the combined PVC/aluminium housing offers increased mechanical robustness in a professional environment.
Note on planning: Passive adapters and extensions can attenuate the signal. For stable 8K/4K high refresh applications, the total cable length should be kept as short as possible; a maximum total length of approx. 3 m is recommended as a guideline.
