Description
The adapter provides a CEE 7/3 earthing contact socket and is plugged into a suitable IEC 60320-C19 socket outlet via the IEC 60320-C20 plug (e.g. on PDU or UPS outlets). This allows loads with earthing contact plugs to be operated at installation points that primarily provide IEC 60320-C19 outlets.
The version is designed as a direct adapter without a cable. This makes the adapter particularly suitable for structured power distribution in server cabinets and for test/service setups in which flexible transitions between IEC and earthing contact interfaces are required. Note: The adapter does not change any mains parameters; use only within the permissible current/voltage values of the connected components.
