The DINIC power adapter converts an IEC 60320-C14 cold appliance socket to an IEC 60320-C5 appliance plug. This allows existing power supply cables with C13 plugs (e.g. standard cold appliance cables) to be used in installations in which terminal devices or power supply units require a C5/C6 connection ("Mickey Mouse/cloverleaf").

The compact adapter solution reduces the cost of stocking different types of mains cable and supports standardised cabling concepts in office IT, system houses and technical operating environments.
