Description

The DINIC Toslink cable with an outer diameter of 4 mm is designed for the low-loss transmission of digital audio signals via optical S/PDIF interfaces. The signals are transmitted as light pulses via a POF fibre optic cable and are therefore insensitive to electrical and magnetic interference fields, ground loops or EMC interference in the vicinity of power or data lines.

The moulded PVC connector bodies ensure a mechanically stable connection between the fibre, connector and kink protection. This increases long-term reliability, particularly in 19" cabinets, AV racks and installations with regular mating cycles. The gold-plated contact surfaces of the Toslink plugs offer improved corrosion protection on the optical coupling surfaces of the device interfaces.

With its slim 4 mm design, the cable can be easily routed through cable ducts, cable bridges and in narrow device zones. The neutral black colour supports unobtrusive installation in professional audio, media and presentation environments.
