The DINIC USB 2.0 extension (USB-A male to USB-A female) extends existing USB connections where device interfaces are difficult to access or additional cable length is required in the rack, at the workstation or in service. The type A version is designed for common USB ports and standard USB-A plugs.

The cable construction in accordance with UL 2725 separates data and power conductors via defined conductor cross-sections (28 AWG for the data pair, 26 AWG for the supply conductors). This makes the cable suitable for stable USB 2.0 connections in a professional environment, e.g. for frequent reconnection, test set-ups or temporary extensions.
