The internal DINIC 5.25" to SATA power adapter is used to supply power to SATA components (e.g. HDD/SSD/ODD) if the system power supply unit mainly has 4-pin peripheral power connections (5.25"/Molex). This means that existing power supply and system components can continue to be used and SATA drives can be retrofitted cleanly.
The short 0.15 m design supports space-saving installation and reduces excess cable in the housing - an advantage in system construction, service applications and in densely populated industrial PCs and embedded systems.
