Power adapter & mains adapter

The power adapter category offers DINIC mains adapters and short mains cable extensions for specialist retailers, system houses, installers and industrial and commercial customers. Adapters connect IEC60320 plugs (C13, C14, C19, C20) with Euro and earthing contact systems (CEE 7/16, CEE 7/3, CEE 7/7) as well as C5/C6 ("Mickey Mouse") and C7. The range includes angled C13/C14 and C19/C20 adapters for narrow racks, UPS adapters, short Euro extensions and compact Schuko, Euro, C5, C6 and C7 adapters. This allows DINIC power cables to be quickly adapted to different device requirements in accordance with standards.

Mains adapters and authorisation

Adapter plugs or adapter plugs without an additional function in accordance with (DIN VDE 0620-2-1) are not prohibited in principle. However, they are certainly among the items of equipment that users should only use in the home with the necessary care.
In principle, such adapters should only be used temporarily and should never be used as a replacement for a fixed electrical installation.
Used in companies and industrial operations, they rarely fulfil the principle of intended use and should therefore not be used there either.
