The DINIC HDMI to VGA adapter converts digital HDMI output signals into an analogue VGA image signal and also provides a separate audio signal via a 3.5 mm jack socket. This allows HDMI sources (e.g. PC, notebook, media player, industrial PC) to be connected to existing VGA infrastructures without having to replace the display unit.
The short, integrated connection cable (approx. 0.15 m) reduces mechanical stress on the HDMI socket and facilitates integration in confined spaces, e.g. behind monitors, in media technology racks or for temporary test and service setups.
Technical note: Depending on the connected hardware, an additional power supply via micro USB may be required (micro USB cable not included). The adapter is not suitable for converting from VGA to HDMI (only HDMI → VGA).
