Power cables, India, Type D & M

There has been some initial, cautiously positive progress regarding the planned production directly in India: we have now received the relevant BIS certifications and the necessary test reports for the first two cable types envisaged, which will serve as the basis for the required EU declarations of conformity.

We therefore hope to be able to put these two cable types into production shortly, subject to certain conditions. However, as final technical, organisational and commercial arrangements are still required, we are currently unable to commit to a definite start of production, delivery date or guaranteed long-term availability. As soon as a reliable schedule is in place, we will announce the relevant products at short notice.

We are currently finalising the necessary arrangements for the potential production of the first two cable variants directly in India. At the same time, we are monitoring further market developments, maintaining close contact with our partners and exploring additional manufacturing options. The certifications and test reports we have received represent an important step, but do not yet constitute a binding commitment to production or delivery.
