The YL-1212 power adapter provides a mechanical and electrical adapter solution from IEC 60320-C13 (socket) to NEMA 5-15P (type B, 3-pin). This enables IEC IEC connections in countries with a type B connector system (e.g. USA/Japan) to be connected in a practical manner.

The IEC C13 socket is designed for connection to IEC connections (max. plug temperature 70 °C, current up to 10 A). The NEMA 5-15P plug has two flat parallel contacts (L/N) and a longer round protective conductor contact and is typically used in 120 V / 60 Hz supply networks.
