This IEC appliance connection cable connects an earthed socket outlet (CEE 7/7) to devices that use an IEC 60320 C14 appliance socket (counterpart to the C13 socket). The coloured sheath design in orange supports structured installations, clear assignment of circuits/system parts and facilitates servicing and rewiring during operation.

The 90° angled plug on the mains connection reduces the bending radius directly at the socket outlet and allows the supply cable to be routed flatter - an advantage in confined spaces, e.g. behind racks, PDU zones, furniture or in ducts.

The illustration of the plug is decisive, as the designation left/right/top/bottom angled depends on the respective point of view.
